IV. ORGANIZATIONAL POLICIES & PROCEDURES

 

IV (A)   COMMUNICATION

  • Communications via the organization’s formal and informal email groups are held to the same code of conduct standards as any form of Member interaction.

  • Exercise direct communication to clarify and resolve conflict in a constructive manner. Discussion of personal conflicts is best not discussed in open forum.

  • There are “un-official” lines of communication such as private Facebook groups that are not monitored by the organization. Be advised that any publicly available evidence of abusive communications in any form may be subject to review as part of any conflict resolution process.   

  • Out of respect for people’s privacy, Members are asked to refrain from contacting other Members at their place of business unless they have received prior permission to do so.

  • Under NO circumstances is it appropriate for a member to contact guest artists or donors to solicit information, money, or to suggest programing or development wishes.
